If I have the budget, I will get the key people from the different locations together to talk about the direction and give them some time to socially interact. Also, for improvement projects, I would resource them with people from different locations, and have the leaders come from different locations too. This drives everyone to interact more together, and they can use these links to address daily operational issues faster too.
