I need to recognize achievement, but to grow the company faster, I need to also recognize risk taking. There needs to be some metrics and shared behaviors in the culture that make it OK to take risks, and look for new ways of doing things. Above all, the organization needs everyone to feel a sense of urgency, and the need to work well with each other to create growth and the future faster.
