Whenever you feel you are not the same, you tend to avoid engaging others in powerful ways. If this leader stays on the outside, he or she will always be on the outside. It’s important to look for ways to engage on what’s common, and to focus on ways to help each other. Look at building strong relationships with key people in the leadership, and always be known as a leader who brings new ideas (as then you will be included more).
