Networking is about building strong relationships, and that is the foundation for your influence. Start by listing up key people within the company that it will be important for you to know better. What’s key is to understand their focus (what’s important to them), and then look for ways to help them with that. The stronger your relationships, the stronger your influence, so make building relationships a priority for you along your other priorities. Remember, you cannot influence the game if you are out of the game!
