Clearly, I will not have the same leadership style as the founder. So, I need to get expectations clear in two directions. First, with the founder, and how the founder will measure my achievement and evaluate my behaviors. I will need to freedom (flexibility) to lead the organization in what might be a different way. Also, I need to make my expectations clear to my key people first: What I expect from them, and reinforce my confidence in them to deliver.
