The best way to engage others is to have a clear outcome for the meeting, and packaged in a way where we need to get everyone’s ideas out on the table to get to stronger solutions faster. Your role is to then facilitate a good conversation where your people can build on each other’s ideas. With all the ideas out, then focus on choosing the best ones to go forward and how they could be implemented. An idea without a conversation on implementation is not going anywhere.
