Hiring from the outside is considering an opportunity when the person brings strengths and experiences into the company that can help move the company faster, and be a strong role model for others. What’s key is bringing someone in who will be a team player or they will never be accepted to be that role model you are looking for. This person needs to be inclusive, a good listener, and people within the company will see how everyone can grow faster and achieve more with him or her.
