It’s difficult to just focus on them, and what they should do/change, as they will think you are attacking them. I would schedule a strategy meeting, and have a discussion as to what the company needs from both of you in the coming year to move forward faster. Be open with each other, and be willing to accept feedback from each other on what you both need to do, improve and ultimately behave in new/better ways. Being open both ways is the only way to get to discuss what needs to be discussed.
