You have to understand that you might not be able convince everyone to strongly support your project. Also, influence is a team sport. Maybe you can use some of the other 8 to bring along the 2 that you don’t have a good relationship with. The key is to make the project about the impact the business wants to make and not make it about you. When you take the ego out of the way, you can have far more productive conversations with your peers, get their ideas, and pull them into the project deeper all the time.
