Mark Fritz

This is difficult because this manager has been allowed to lead this way for a long time. They continue to get good results, so they are probably thinking…what’s wrong. One way is to have a conversation with the manager to understand her ambitions and the future roles she would like to take on. Then, have a conversation on what is the key development needed within her in order to do those future roles in a very successful way. Can she stay the same and deliver the same results at a higher level of responsibility? Helping her see a change needed on their own is far more powerful than you trying to convince her of it.
