My CEO friend will say that I need to get my people seeing themselves within the vision…how what they do will help deliver it. I need to communicate the vision in possibilities, so that my people’s perspectives open up to all the ways we can deliver it. I also need to engage my people in the plans forward so they can more ownership of making it happen. Visions require gaining and keeping people aligned, and that needs to be my top job to get the vision off to a strong start.
