I need to change the agenda for the meetings to be more future focused…discussing strategies and key directional decisions. This should drive people to speak their minds as they want to influence the direction. I need to find a better way for people to provide a status update in a shorter time, only spending 1/3 of the time on the present, and 2/3 the time on the future. It’s about creating an environment where will want to speak up to influence the future to happen the way they want.
